Watersports Camp for kids in Spain Summer 2016 2 to 4 week Water Sports Summer Camp and Spanish lessons for Children from 8 to 12 years old in July and August. 3 hours every morning from Monday to Friday in a Water Sports Summer Camp. Children start to practice sailing, windsurfing, and canoeing in a kind atmosphere surrounded with many games, baths, and excursions to the Northwest of Alicante Bay. 	Nautical Club has a long history. It was founded in 1973 near Alicante by a group of enthusiasts of water sports trying to spread their passion for the sea. The Nautical school is located to the North of the Alicante bay, just near the Albufereta Beach, sheltered by the sea on a plain sea area. The Nautical Club is an organisation officially approved by the Valencia Sailing Federation and, therefore, it follows the obligatory parameters in training, safety, material, and facilities: a trainer for every seven students, safety boats, own sea area limited by the coastal authorities, different boat types, safety coordinator, etc. The Sailing and Windsurfing School has a qualified and highly experienced team; trainers are, in many cases, elite competitors with an important sports curriculum. Nautical club has been chosen by the Puma Team of the Round the World Tour Alicante 2008 as the official Sailing school, recognising thus the school’s role in the world of sailing and its work promoting water sports. The Club facilities have showers and changing rooms, activity room, and classrooms for theory lessons with different audiovisual means, as well as café and restaurant. Sailing lessons every morning to learn sailing in GAMBA, LASER SB3· and LASER STRATOS sailboats: from the first week teens will be ready to start learning to navigate. Participants start to sail divided into groups of 5-6 people in fast boats that will make them feel many new things. Sailers get to experience the real excitement of the sea with this Coastal Sailing. On windsurfing time, children will learn how to handle the sail with balance exercises and many funny baths. On the canoe, kids will feel the direct contact with the sea while learning to row in open waters, always controlled and supervised by trainers and safety boats.

All in all, Alicante is a Mediterranean city with a long history, impressive monuments such the Castle over the hill who dominates the city, Saint Nicholas Cathedral, the city Hall, interesting Museums and alive atmospehre. Tennis school is in Alicante surrounding area and the distance from Alicante city centre to the tennis School is covered by public transport and lasts approximately 10 minutes. More info on Alicante Spain	The aim of our classes is to create a fun environment for children to learn Spanish, creating real communicative situations through games, puzzles, comics, songs, arts and crafts, theatre, videos, etc. Each afternoon, the children will attend Spanish lessons lasting for 2½ hours, working with materials fully adapted to their specific needs. They will have the chance to study a variety of different themes (family, friends, school life, animals, sports, holidays and free time), creating their own vocabulary bank as they progress through the course. Our learning system develops children’s abilities through a comprehensive approach that deals with each discipline in language learning: listening, reading, writing and – above all - speaking. What is most important is that children learn to communicate in Spanish with new phrases and vocabulary that allow them to express themselves. The method and materials we use during classes are totally adapted to the children’s age, with a rewarding and attractive design that makes the classes dynamic and gives the children the opportunity to be key players in their own learning process. Different levels will be created so that students can reap full benefit from their lessons. 	Activity programme overview	Host family accommodation
	Language, culture, monuments, amusement parks, the beach… After the Spanish lessons and during the weekend, all these things will make their Spanish and tennis camp the perfect language immersion in Spain. From Monday to Friday activities take approximately from 2 hours depending on the activity. On Saturday or Sunday, the full day excursion takes approx. 8 hours. Visit to the Santa Barbara castle in Alicante, one of the biggest medieval fortresses in Europe, Concathedral of San Nicolás, guided tour to the Archaeological Museum of Alicante (MARQ), Bonfire Museum to know more about Fiestas in Alicante, Crib Museum, amusement parks (Terra Mítica, Terra Natura, Aqualandia), excursion to Elche, Tabarca Island, Calpe or Villajoyosa, dependind on the weekend. More info on Activity Program at the water sports camp	Living with a Spanish family is one of the best ways to get to know the country, including its culture and its people. It will also allow students to practice the Spanish language in a natural way. The majority of the host families are near the school, around 10 or 15 minutes walking. If students live more than 20 minutes walking, we provide them with bus tickets to go to the school. All the quarters of the city are connected to the centre by urban buses running every 10-15 minutes. The families are selected and visited regularly by our staff. In all of them, students will find a warm atmosphere that will help them get integrated into the family and city life very quickly. Families usually have children with a similar age to the students. 	Transfer from Alicante airport	Medical and accidents insurance
	Alicante has excellent connections with other cities in Spain and Europe. The majority of the students arrive by plane. The Alicante airport (El Altet) is located 11 km from Alicante and it takes about 30 min from the airport to Alicante city centre. There are domestic and international flights that connect Alicante to the main European and Spanish cities. Transfer service from Alicante airport, bus station or train station is NOT include in the price of Summer Camps for Children. If you want, a representative of ZadorSpain will pick students up at the airport and bring them directly to their place of accommodation.
