2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 week Tennis Summer Camp for Kids and Spanish program for children and kids from 8 to 13 years old in July and August in Spain (Alicante Costa Blanca region in Spain).
Tennis Summer Camp for kids
is a program for kids with an acceptable level to compete, for kids usually playing tennis tournaments or registered in a tennis school.
Tennis Summer Camp program for kids includes:
 Intensive tennis instruction and training in a Tennis School to prepare young tennis players for tennis tournaments, from 10:00 to 13:30 (Monday to Friday, 17 hours per week) with Spanish children. One day per week kids practice not only tennis but other sports
3 Spanish lessons for chidren per day from Monday to Friday in the afternoon (from 16:00 to 18:30)
Full board host family accommodation with 5 meals (breakfast, sandwinch, lunch, sandwich and dinner)
Guided tours in Alicante, trips and other recreational activities, where kids will be always accompanied by a group leader
1 full day excursion per week

Pick-up and drop-off service from Alicante airport
Medical, travel and accident insurance
Spanish Programs for Kids have a maximum level of supervision by the school' staff, host families and tennis trainers. They are accompanied to the school and to the summer camp every day.

Intensive tennis training for Kids in a tennis academy
Kids go every morning from Monday to Friday to the Tennis School from 10:00 to 13:30.
The central point of the “Tournament Tennis Camp for Kids” will be the combination of tennis training sessions, specially aimed at competition situations, with training support in national tournaments of all categories. If the kids want to, they can take part in tournaments organised by some clubs of the province (Elche, Villajoyosa…) and/or they can also do it in the tennis school itself that may organise 2 or 3 tennis tournaments per month.

Tennis Academy in Alicante has excellent premises and specialized coaches for training kids at the tennis summer school.

The “Tennis Summer Camp for kids” is the perfect finishing for the annual programming of tennis training for an advanced level player because, for 2, 3 or 4 weeks, kids can develop the technical and tactical tennis skills they have acquired during the year in real tennis competition situations.
The central point of the programming of the “Tennis Camp for kids/ Summer 2015“ will be the combination of tennis training sessions, specially aimed at competition situations, with training support in national tournaments of all categories.
Tennis camp for Children focused on a high frequency of tennis training sessions -5 days per week, 3 hours per day-, with the main goal of establishing the acquired technical skills and of developing new ones. All this is carried out by means of a methodology that has been awarded the prize for ‘the best tennis school in Spain’ twice by the Registro Profesional de Tenis.

Other activities at the tennis summer camp for kids |

If the kids want to, besides the intensive tennis lessons, they can take part in tennis tournaments organised by some tennis clubs and tennis schools of Alicante province (Elche, Villajoyosa…) and/or they can also do it in the tennis club itself that may organise 2 or 3 tournaments per month. Tennis trainer accompanies the kids, if this option is chosen, and the trip to the tennis tournament is included.
In this sense, the great variety of tennis competitions in the summer calendar of the Alicante Province offers kid tennis players the possibility to play an official tennis tournament every week of the tennis camp.
The enrolment/registration in the tennis tournament is not included in the price of the Tennis Camp for kids. |

The intensive tennis training lessons for kids is complemented with a series of tennis theory lessons, alternative sports, and parallel activities integrating and perfecting the “tennis camp” main objectives.
Physical Preparation (morning): Daily physical preparation sessions with the aim of keeping the kids’ physical conditions, as well as preventing injuries and preparing tennis competitions.
Theory tennis lessons: The objective of this tennis theory lessons is to complement intense tennis training, preparing kids appropriately for facing the intensive tennis training. Tennis lessons are programmed once per week, after the training session and include diverse subjects (psychology, biomechanics, tactics, and strategies). |

All in all, Alicante is a Mediterranean city with a long history, impressive monuments such the Castle over the hill who dominates the city, Saint Nicholas Cathedral, the city Hall, interesting Museums and alive atmospehre.
Tennis school is in Alicante surrounding area and the distance from Alicante city centre to the tennis School is covered by public transport and lasts approximately 10 minutes.

We know young tennis players want to play tennis and learn Spanish but we also know that there are many other things surrounding the tennis camp that are interesting for them.
Language, culture, monuments, games, amusement parks, the beach… After the Spanish lessons and during the weekend, all these things will make their Spanish and tennis camp the perfect immersion program in Spain for kids.
From Monday to Friday activities take approximately from 2 hours depending on the activity. On Saturday or Sunday, the full day excursion takes approx. 8 hours.
Visit to the Santa Barbara castle in Alicante, one of the biggest medieval fortresses in Europe, Concathedral of San Nicolás, guided tour to the Archaeological Museum of Alicante (MARQ), Bonfire Museum to know more about Fiestas in Alicante, Crib Museum, amusement parks (Terra Mítica, Terra Natura, Aqualandia), excursion to Elche, Tabarca Island, Calpe or Villajoyosa, dependind on the weekend.

Living with a Spanish family is one of the best ways to get to know the country, including its culture and its people. It will also allow kids to practice the Spanish language in a natural way.
The majority of the host families are near the school, around 10 or 15 minutes walking and they accompany kids to the school every day.
The families are selected and visited regularly by our staff. In all of them, kids will find a warm atmosphere that will help them get integrated into the family and city life very quickly. Families usually have children with a similar age to the students.
Kids will have a single room or a twin room for friends or for two children from coming together to the Summer Camps in Alicante.

Alicante has excellent connections with other cities in Spain and Europe. The majority of the students arrive by plane.
The Alicante airport (El Altet) is located 11 km from Alicante and it takes about 30 min from the airport to Alicante city centre. There are domestic and international flights that connect Alicante to the main European and Spanish cities.
Transfer service from Alicante airport, bus station or train station is NOT included in the price of Tennis camp for children. If contracted, a representative of ZadorSpain will pick kids up at the airport and bring them directly to the host family.
