Multi-activity Summer Camp for Children in Spain
 Activity Summer Camp for Kids is a 2-6 week Spanish Program for kids from 8 to 12 years old in July in Alicante and it combines a Multi activity Summer Camp in the morning with Spanish kids, Spanish lessons and activities in the afternoon.
As in the rest of the Summer Spanish Programs for kids in Spain, children live in a family, have Spanish 3 lessons per day, visit the most interesting places in Alicante; have 1 full day excursion per week, are covered by insurance and they will be picked up at the Alicante airport.
Activity Summer Camp program for kids in Spain includes:
 Activities every morning in a summer camp with Spanish children from 9:30– 13:30 with specialised monitors: swimming, basketball, football, volleyball, gymnastics, athletics, open air games, story telling…
Spanish course with 3 Spanish lessons per day from Monday to Friday in the afternoon
Full board host family accommodation with 5 meals (breakfast, sandwich, lunch, sandwich and dinner)
Visits and walking tours in Alicante, trips and other recreational activities, where kids will be accompanied by a group leader
1 full day excursion per week
Local transports tickets
Tickets for museums, monuments, amusement parks...

Spanish Programs for Kids have a maximum level of supervision by the school' staff and host families. They are accompanied to the school and to the summer camp every day.

Summer Camp is the perfect the opportunity for kids to meet Spanish children and make friends practicing Spanish language. The majority of the children at the camp are Spanish and they come from Alicante area.

Summer Camp for Kids take place in the facilities of a Private Sport Complex in the Alicante surrounding area with:

Much more than a city with mild climate all year long, sun and bright light, a beach in the city (10 minutes walking from the Spanish school), palm trees, promenades and white buildings, Alicante offers many places to visit.
All in all, Alicante is a Mediterranean city with a long history, impressive monuments such the Castle over the hill who dominates the city, Saint Nicholas Cathedral, the city Hall, interesting Museums and alive atmospehre.
Tennis school is in Alicante surrounding area and the distance from Alicante city centre to the tennis School is covered by public transport and lasts approximately 10 minutes.

The aim of our classes is to create a fun environment for children to learn Spanish, creating real communicative situations through games, puzzles, comics, songs, arts and crafts, theatre, videos, etc.
Each afternoon, the children will attend Spanish lessons lasting for 2½ hours, working with materials fully adapted to their specific needs.
They will have the chance to study a variety of different themes (family, friends, school life, animals, sports, holidays and free time), creating their own vocabulary bank as they progress through the course.
Our learning system develops children’s abilities through a comprehensive approach that deals with each discipline in language learning: listening, reading, writing and – above all - speaking.
What is most important is that children learn to communicate in Spanish with new phrases and vocabulary that allow them to express themselves.
The method and materials we use during classes are totally adapted to the children’s age, with a rewarding and attractive design that makes the classes dynamic and gives the children the opportunity to be key players in their own learning process.
Different levels will be created so that students can reap full benefit from their lessons. Our aim is to offer classes of quality, without forgetting that the children are on a summer course – they are not only here to learn, but also to have fun.

Language, culture, monuments, amusement parks, the beach… After the Spanish lessons and during the weekend, all these things will make their Spanish and tennis camp the perfect language immersion in Spain.
From Monday to Friday activities take approximately from 2 hours depending on the activity. On Saturday or Sunday, the full day excursion takes approx. 8 hours.
Visit to the Santa Barbara castle in Alicante, one of the biggest medieval fortresses in Europe, Concathedral of San Nicolás, guided tour to the Archaeological Museum of Alicante (MARQ), Bonfire Museum to know more about Fiestas in Alicante, Crib Museum, amusement parks (Terra Mítica, Terra Natura, Aqualandia), excursion to Elche, Tabarca Island, Calpe or Villajoyosa, dependind on the weekend.

Living with a Spanish family is one of the best ways to get to know the country, including its culture and its people. It will also allow students to practice the Spanish language in a natural way.
The majority of the host families are near the school, around 10 or 15 minutes walking. If students live more than 20 minutes walking, we provide them with bus tickets to go to the school. All the quarters of the city are connected to the centre by urban buses running every 10-15 minutes.
The families are selected and visited regularly by our staff. In all of them, students will find a warm atmosphere that will help them get integrated into the family and city life very quickly. Families usually have children with a similar age to the students.
Students will have a single room or a twin room for friends or for two students from the same family coming together.

Alicante has excellent connections with other cities in Spain and Europe. The majority of the students arrive by plane.
The Alicante airport (El Altet) is located 11 km from Alicante and it takes about 30 min from the airport to Alicante city centre. There are domestic and international flights that connect Alicante to the main European and Spanish cities.
Transfer service from Alicante airport, bus station or train station is NOt include in the price of Summer Camps for Children. If you want, a representative of ZadorSpain will pick students up at the airport and bring them directly to their place of accommodation.
